Handmade Soap
Our
soaps are all handmade from all natural ingredients including vegetable oil.
Most commercially made soaps are actually synthetic detergents, often
made with undisclosed ingredients. A true homemade soap retains all the natural
glycerin which is produced when fats (natural oils) and sodium hydroxide (lye)
are mixed together in precise ratios and temperatures. Glycerin is a natural
moisturizer and cleanser that increases lather and produces a milder soap for
the skin. In a lot of commercial soaps, the valuable glycerin is extracted and
sold. It is replaced with cheaper synthetic alternatives which can be a lot
harsher and irritating to the skin.

Tips
It is
recommended that you test a small patch of the skin to make sure that no
irritation occurs.
Use a
good soap dish. For best results and longer lasting soap, place the soap in a
soap dish with slats or drainage holes so that soap does not sit in water.
Lavender and Rosemary- The lavender helps to restore
balance with its calming and soothing qualities as the Rosemary helps to aid
memory and clear thinking. This soap also contains olive oil, palm oil, coconut
oil and cocoa butter.
Tea
Tree-This
essential oil is useful as a cleansing agent for the skin and is a
powerful antiseptic. It also helps to combat foot odor. This soap also contains
olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
Rose Geranium and Lemon-This
pleasing flowery aroma along with the uplifting blend of lemon offer a
refreshing balance for body and mind. This soap also
contains olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
Peppermint-This
invigorating blend of peppermint, rosemary, lavender and basil is a great
wake-me-up in the morning or anytime you need a lift. This soap also contains
olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
Oatmeal & Honey - This soap helps exfoliate and retain skin moisture. Oatmeal soothes and calms the skin and the combination helps keep moisture in and replenishes dry skin. No essential oils added to this soap, just the natural scent of oatmeal and honey. Other ingredients include olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
Rose Geranium
– This wonderful soap is made
with the delightful scent of Rose Geranium essential oil. If you enjoy flowery
scents, this one is for you. Other ingredients include olive oil, palm oil,
coconut oil, and cocoa butter.
Bay Spice - This spicy blend of West Indian Bay and Bergamot will help you stay grounded with its earthy aroma. A favorite with gentlemen, but women will love it too.
